Who I Am

Welcome to Reinbolt Grants! I’m Donna Reinbolt and my mission is to assist Texas non-profits achieve and sustain their programing goals with the help of grants from like-minded funders. As an attorney, non-profit board member, volunteer fundraiser, philanthropist, cancer research advocate and public speaker, I have experienced all sides of the non-profit world. I understand the passion of non-profits and their struggle to maintain funding that sustains their meaningful programs. I understand the earnestness of funders and their struggle to find non-profit programs that honor their goals. I’m passionate about connecting remarkable funders to remarkable projects to create a positive impact in the community. If you want help, call me. Where do we start?

Where do we start? We start with you. First, we’ll set up a convenient time for you to talk. (Introductory calls are complimentary.) During our call, I’ll listen to your needs and your vision. I’ll then ask you a series of questions to assess your organization’s grant readiness. Once I understand where you are and where you hope to go, I can present options that make sense for your organization. If you choose to engage me, I’ll research grant opportunities that suit your needs and communicate those opportunities to your team. Your team can then direct me as to which opportunities they wish to pursue. Thereafter, I will write an engaging, persuasive grant proposal that honors the funder’s goals and raises your chances of receiving a grant.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can you work on a commission basis instead of an hourly or retainer basis?

A: No. It is unethical for a proposal writer to receive contingency payment. It is prohibited by the Grant Professionals Association, to which I belong.

Q: I heard the United States federal government gives out a lot of money. Do you write proposals for federal grants?

A: Not at this time but I can direct you to proposal writing professionals who can help you.

Q: If we’re successful, will you manage the grant funds for my organization?

A: No. Although, prior to applying for the grant, we can discuss the manner in which the grant may be managed if we’re successful.

Q: I don’t really know that much about grants but would like to learn. Where would I start?

A: My favorite book on the subject is “The Only Grant Writing Book You’ll Ever Need” by Ellen Karsh and Arlen Sue Fox. The U.S. Federal government has a website with a grants learning center at http://www.grants.gov/learn-grants.html.
